    I don't know about 5 minutes being enough, but if you breathe through a proper cartridge filter for a day it'll absolutely burn calories.

    I haven't done it often, but often enough to know that after a full working day your breathing bits are sore from working extra hard and EVERYTHING smells wonderful. Sensory deprivation is a weird thing and everyone should try it out if only for curiosities sake. Works for ears just as well, but taking away all smell and taste makes you appreciate having it.
