The fries though are still getting deep fried, so that all components of the meal are ready together.

Yeah that makes sense. If you did it all in the air fryer separately it would be ready in time to for breakfast

Our DeLonghi Multifry is starting to make a weird noise and I was actually looking at that one as a possible replacement.

I think it depends how much you really care about food. Some people just eat for sustenance and dont give it much more
thought. I cant really cook and I'm not miserable. I never eat takeaways either. I've probably had one takeaway meal in
    the last 2 years

I get enjoyment from cooking and eating good food.

I get enjoyment from other things ....but I am trying to learn how to cook and care more about food.

Its funny though, I was thinking if expense was no object and I could eat anything I wanted or I had to choose something for
a 'last meal', what would I want to eat. I cant really think of anything. Honestly. Maybe some Biltong (the proper South African
stuff) or a nice steak....maybe try that Japanese Wagyu Beef

    What would you guys choose?

A good doner kebab for sure as a last meal but only if its made with lots of meat and by someone who knows what they are doing (None of this franchise weighed crap stuff) or maybe a nice Pho soup with roast duck

Currently sipping on this new you beaut toffee almond panna cotta drink by the barista bros (Yup feels classy man- not sure about the aftertaste I am getting tho or the $3 price tag for a small bottle ) also contemplating making dinner later with the last of my left over hickory/ mesquite smoked pork that I made in the webber -Yep still classy)

I used to love cooking and be very competitive about it - but when you have a family and you are continually forced to cook not just until they grow up but until the second gen grows up.. it kinda takes the joy out of cooking after a while -even if you are good at it

When midget grows up a bit more I plan minimal cooking anything

Stock up and vape/ snus on! Screw them!
