I think the milk will probably stick to the bottom heater plate ( maybe ) ..... I just saved you a squillion .... but it makes good quick soup

Great way to use up broccoli stalks etc ... chop into smaller pieces ... whizz and cook ... instant ( well kinda, but handsfree) soups

Not so great on the big chunky soups but can do it once you get used to it

( it has a mesh tube round the blender blades so the chunky stuff stays outside and gets cooked by the whizzing inner liquid coming out and recirculating back )

Its a love it or hate it appliance I think , I just happen to be in the love it camp .... fresh vegie soups in 15-20 mins with bugger all effort or supervision .. works for me

Foodies & Gardening, I bought heritage variety seeds of tomatoes of 10 different types and set up a watering system on a timer for those, native basil and garlic chives etc. So, yep on gardening. On germination last year I gave 3 different types to next doors in return for their kindnesses past. The varieties are amazing and some are huge! Brandywine, San Marzano Roma, Black Russian, Oxheart, Beefsteak, and bonus seeds as well. The link....

I finally got around to making homemade tortellini
Cooked filling of veal mince with few cloves of garlic, mushrooms, oil seasoning
Dusted off the pasta roller machine doodat cut with egg rings and made this,
added with red sauce, I went bottle cos I was buggered after all this,
    scored 12/10 with family
