Too right Tara. It's fiddly to make well. Over cook it and it's had it. I use the rule that when they float for 1 minute they're done. It's nice when right tho.
    Awwww! Stuff it all!

Think Tara I need to thank you for reminding of one of my all time favorite desserts knedle - I think I will make it later on in the week - its also made with potato pastry

    Basic recipe here

    Knedle recipe

Except we make it with peaches slightly differently and keep the stone of the peach in there cause its too much hassle otherwise

Lol as to gnocchi - yah my first couple of independant attempts were not that great - its a thing about practice really

Suggest tho instead of completely dumping the idea - maybe try the premade gnocchi? - its a lot easier to deal with - although do be warned the taste is pretty different - not bad or terrible or anything - just a bit different being premade

Oh that actually sounds really good Its a shame the seeds are so hard to get out because the sugar/candy in the middle sounds
    like a nice touch.

Another issue with mine was the sauce. I just used a jar of that the Dolmio Extra Bolognese sauce and I think I must have reduced
it too much cause it became more like a tomato paste I had a lot left over and didn't want to waste it so I attempted to have it for
dinner again tonight. This time I added a bit of mince (that had been cooked in the same sauce) and grated cheese and it made the
world of difference. Well, it was edible lol

I wish I knew how to cook. I'm trying though

I was out shopping last Sunday and spotted Pumpkin Gnocchi, I was out of bucks on my list but it looked pretty yum, that would be nice with pork or chook I think, sweetish.
