    R.I.P. Green Budgie

I was only saying yesterday in this thread about my green budgie.

She passed away just now in my hands. I've had her for 10 years.

Buried her with her favourite toy.

Thank you green budgie for keeping me amused for so long.

Time to go play with the other budgies.

Sorry to hear dude, that sucks. Its never easy when you lose a pet. I was inconsolable, and couldnt consider getting another cat for 12 years, after my last one passed away. Of course when i finally got over her being gone, i havent been able to find a place to live where i could have another. I have to make do with timesharing one.

    RIP Green Budgie

    Thanks Style

She had a good life. The house is so quiet without her now. I might have to buy a radio to keep on all day to save me from going bonkers in the silence!

I had cats too, but the X decided she wanted them, and I wasn't in a position to keep them so yeah that was hard too.

Sounds like a good first step, i can only imagine the silence after having a bird.

Just maybe dont tune it to Alan Jones and you'll be ok

You should check out WSFM 101.7 in Sydney. You can listen online. They play only the best hits from the 80s/90s and no shit boy bands.

Every song they play I go "I love this song" in my head!

That's sad, but 10 years is pretty good for a budgie friend. Not many go more than that.

Are you going to get another one? We'll name him for you...

No I think I've had a good run of budgies. I've had budgies for around 25 years now. I do have a growing very rapidly diamond python though so i'm not entirely pet-less although he's a bit to big now to get out and have run around the house.
