Padi open water certified. Around 20 dives.. mainly on holidays, Bali, Fiji, Red Sea... Still haven't managed to get up to Great Barrier Reef though! Done some night dives, a couple of drifts.. Love it! But mainly warm weather diver! Hate the constriction of a wet suit...

Yeah me too, reckon little less than 20 here. Been years since I got wet but.
Only 1 night dive, love how tanks last forever at night.

I did my open water, way back.

I never kept it up though. I was asthmatic, so it was a bit dodgy even though I was in my twenties. (and a smoker).

I imagine technology for regs and other equipment has moved on quite a bit since then. Just being able to buy a cheap sports camera in an enclosure and take it under water is a huge difference. When I was diving, underwater photography was THE most expensive hobby.

reg tech has since the intro of nitrox and all that

under water phoyography is still most expensive i think unless you count vaping
