Not hopefully anymore, by the time you saw me last Saturday i was in the current upswing phase, otherwise i wouldnt have been there or let you see me.
The day i met you was literally my second day out after emerging from the house. That was the longest convo id had with a real person in 6 months

I wish you all the best and may the Style keep trend setting. I have enjoyed lurking a bit and having an educational journey here, in which, you have featured. Cheers.

    Gad *&^&* dammit.

I haven't had one of those in years, and now have a silly hankering for one...

Might have to put in one of my twice decadely visits and darken the door of the local maccas tomorrow.

Once I got my driver's license, we would all, as a group head on down there and eat. Cheap, and it was food. Besides as a kid, I never really went there often so was making up for lost time. About 20 years ago, I realised that every time I ate their food, the top end of the digestive tract was quite happy with the experience, but the further down it went, the less pleased it was. So I stopped eating there. Besides, plenty of other good places to eat.

To the present day, we are within a modest walk of the local Maccas, and when the wind is blowing right, you can smell it from here. I've been there twice in 15 years. We drive past it at least a couple times a week, and the kids rarely ask to go (but they did today, are they clairvoyant?) not because they don't want to go, but we rarely do the whole fast food thing and besides, it's expensive! Next time you hear someone say "Japan is expensive", let them know we ate at a sit-down place last night, and filled the 4 of us for under AU$40. Not fine dining, but certainly not sitting in the cheap seats. You can sit down and eat for about AU$3 if you need to, and plenty of folks do just that.

As to the OP (who?), I'd realised you were MIA, heard you weren't dead and apparently mending and as I'm not one to pry I left it at that. Very glad to hear you're certainly not dead and hopefully getting better. And hey, it could be worse, you could be going to the doctors here. 50:50 chance they fix you or fcuk you.

    (I wish I was joking...)

    Stu.
