This 034 stopped big time, looked like the piston clip let go then mashed up the top end, luckily it just needed a P/C and it was all good again.

Truth be told, I'd buy a Husqy too if I was buying new. But I grabbed this 034 AV secondhand for a couple of bills 3 years ago and it hasn't skipped a beat.

Sure did, thrown in with the carby & new tank. I do things properly when I get around to doing stuff, if I get around to doing stuff.
How many of us have poured engine oil onto the garage floor while using it to 'flush' an engine out with brand new oil to find you didn't put the sump plug back in? I too, was a rookie once upon a timing chain.

Stripped the 60 year old mower down today, gunna paint it with hammer finish and put my Honda motor on it. Just to damn solid and so well made to neglect it any longer. When I took the steel hubcaps off the solid rubber wheels it exposed the brand new looking axle, looks brand new in there lol. Don't make em like that anymore...!

I stacked a m3 of redgum which I collected and split yesterday. And knocked out 4 loads of washing and cut, transported, split and stacked another m3 of redgum and got Mrs Lime to the GP for an appointment and got the shopping done at the supermarket and the pharmacy and the hardware store. Also bottled 23lt of homebrew and put on another batch for fermentation. But the day's still young...
Still have dinner to contemplate and a small (I hope) bathroom repair job on the cards.

I also noticed something on my local bss page which made me think of you @emu, but I'll have to keep you in suspense for the moment because tapa's not letting me upload.
