Grr its crazy isnt it captive?

I get it in the city 'they' do need some infrastructure put in cause cities are just busy and cyclists have been neglected

    But out here?

How hard is it for cyclists to just move over and say off the main road?

And you are right- they cant do any wrong! All the motorist fault! Even if it is the motorist who is forced into breaking the law (crossing double white lines or driving too slowly in high speed zones) -

Or potentially Swerving into dangerous situations like into ditches at high speeds because the riders are too lazy to look and listen and keep off the main road etc etc

In parks and and often in suburbs where we all drive slow anyhow I dont care about so much registrations and helmets -

but on the highways, back country roads and in the inner city CBDs too where they often ride across peoples moving cars - something just has to be done

Also remember that bike riders don't want any form of registration because then they might be able to be identified

I came accross a pack of cyclists the other week on my motorbike. They were riding 4 abreast on a country road and hogging a whole lane.

No probs I thought, I'll just overtake in the other lane, but two others decided they would move into the other lane as well, forcing me onto the shoulder of the opposite side of the road.

Whats worse is they were yelling at me as if it were my fault FFS. Time to ride with a pocket full of sinkers I think.

That particular road is quite narrow and windy and has a few dairy farms on it so it is not unusual for it to be busy with trucks.

The local cyclists are pretty good and stay single file, but we get a few Ironman and other cycling events down here which brings in the sanctimonious we own the road types. Will only be a matter of time before they are getting hosed off the road.

Carry an egg lift & pine o'cleen to get rid of evidence/stains on bitumen.
With the squillions spent by us taxpayers/regopayers painting white lines as to protect them lycra clad bonnet statues from a car straying into their lane, how many soy based, low fat, faffacino, espresso, copitupyabum lattes with a shot could be swilled at a trendy cafe? We, as drivers, know how difficult it is to remain in control when those white lines are crossed.........there are rail/trail paths all over around here. Who paid for that infrastructure? Oh yeah, pushbike riders.....spleen, near vented. If they only got the value for money us regopayers do......Thanks.

The one looking down, and to the right, looks particularly forlorn.
