EOI - legally imported authentic Sony US18650VTC4s 2100mAh's

    Hi,

I am in talks with a sony authorized reseller to obtain a large quantity of authentic Sony US18650VTC4s 2100mAh's batteries.

Much like the cotton co-op I prefer to run expression of interest lists. I am starting the ball rolling on this one early but realistically the batteries are up to 4 weeks away until they arrive at your door. Rest assured the cotton co-op will be completed and maintain focus over this one.

I have asked the supplier for 40-60 or more depending on freight costs.

As with the cotton co-op this will not be a ship as fast as possible alibaba style order and put in an express bag process/

The estimated price is between $8-13USD per battery. Each battery includes the hologram/stamp of authenticity.

I will be having a sample battery tested locally by an engineering firm to confirm authenticity, max discharge (burst, load and mah).

There will be no express post shipping to your door, lithium batteries are regulated as a dangerous good by Auspost so will require land based mail.

If you are looking for something faster there will be alternative ways to purchase these through places like fasttech and online U.S vendors at your own risk.

But their shipments are illegal according to Australian Post regulation and you will have no way to confirm authenticity.

So with the above said if you do not want to wait, want them cheaper and want to roll the dice then this co-op is not for you

Until i receive confirmation of pricing and available quantity I will cap this at 4 batteries per person. As I do not know the cost to send them via road within Australia I cannot provide a shipment cost to your door yet,

I can ask mate, not sure they will be up to the workload of these ones though, these were specifically cherry picked to be safe at 0.2ohm's (not 100% safe, sub ohming is rolling the dice - but as safe as it can be )

About the only thing better is an orbatronic as it has 22u internal resistance, these and mnke's are 23u.

Do you have the dimensions? If they're the size of a Blazar, they'd be too big.

Hmm yeah I'm not phased about not being able to run .2 coils when out and about :P all good if you want to keep this simple too, stick to just the 650s..

Huge capacity for a high drain cell. Good work finding these.

    You're welcome!

Unik i will ask the supplier he has some comparable large cell 18490/500's.

Are you guys interested in long run times for the 18480/18500 (mah) or are you looking for things that will run say a 0.7/0.8 coil?
