I put it away when I got it and almost forgot about it!
Pulled it out yesterday and been using it most of last night and for quite a bit today, and in that time the button seems to have worn in quite nicely.
Not sure if i'll bother to do the magnet replacing thing, right now it doesn't really seem necessary.
    Just one question though
I've noticed that the only venting holes for the battery casing are behind the button locking mechanism and only open when the thing is locked.
From all the reading I did before getting into mech mods I was under the impression the vent holes are a pretty critical safety measure, and I would also imagine the most important time to have venting is when the thing is in use as that's when its in your face and the most likely time to get any battery problems as its in use.
Should I be drilling some holes in this thing?
Has anyone else drilled them for this purpose yet.

nah, if you have a look at the switch when the thing is unlocked there is a gap there between body and switch. then look at the threading on the switch. it has notches cut out.

If you pull the locking ring down, then the vents at the bottom are blocked. Unlock and the bottom vents are open. I think the ones when it is locked are useless anyway as the battery is blocking them.

Mate i thought the same about the switch. Mine was a bit gritty at first then got better as i used it. Once i installed the magnets it became ow so much better. I also added some vaseline to it and this improved things as well.

You'd be better with some Noalox, or Graphite powder. I don't think Vaseline's a very good electrical conductor..

Yeah i do not have any. This is not for contact anyway. It is just so the the button slides up easier. The contact is made in a different area.
