    [Melb] Samsung INR18650-25r Cells

    Hi all,

I have a number of cells left over from a group buy on another forum. They were originally purchased as they are suitable for high power (obviously offroad) ebike batteries. I understand people use them for vaping too.

    Item: Samsung INR18650-25r Cells
Price: AUD$5.65 per cell, plus freight. Minimum purchase of 8 cells, shipping cost is high given they are classed as dangerous goods. Probably really only best for locals, unless you want a large amount. Happy to deliver to you if it's on the way to somewhere else I'm going.
Postage Available:Yes, but as above, it is expensive.
Details: new, perfect condition, still in the boxes they were internationally freighted in.

Welcome to let me know if you are interested in purchasing cells.

Hey mate, all interactions regarding the sale need to be in the thread, except payment details and personal info.

    Great price! GLWS

Yes, where are you? Keen for pick up as well, not sure how many as I don't need any yet but will be getting into mods with 18650's maybe 4-8.

I might be interested in getting some.

What is the postage to Perth?

I wasn't aware that it was any more than usual. I thought it just meant that it had to come by road.
All the Aussie vendors I have dealt with to ship batteries haven't charged any more than the standard shipping. I think you will
find that the only restriction is that they just cant come express (air). You should be able to post them in a normal sized parcel
(Parcel Post via road) for $8.25.

I will take 8 if you can ship them to me at the normal price

    QFT

You're not posting bottles of 90% HCL acid, it can just be sent with parcel post as normal.

    Lithium batteries

Lithium batteries are often in devices like watches, clocks, mobile phones and MP3 players. All lithium batteries are now classified as dangerous goods. They can't be carried by air.

Australia Post can't accept lithium batteries or devices containing them for mailing overseas or for domestic air carriage. These can only be transported within Australia by road transport.

    Packaging requirement from FAQ

    Batteries
    not installed in equipment
    must be:

packaged in inner packaging so that the battery is completely enclosed
and can not come into contact with anything that may cause it to short
circuit eg In a bubble wrap bag

packaged in an additional layer of strong outer packaging that is strong
enough to prevent damage to the battery or shifting of contents to allow
battery to battery contact or release of contents.
Even the boxes the were internationally freighted in should meet these standards.
