Any good straight forward apple pie recipes?

    Hi all,

Ive played with about 6-7 apple pie recipes from ejuice.com, from straight fa/cap apple pie one shots, adding cinnamon Danish, adding double apple and also with custards and creams but cant find anything that is strong in the apple and crust areas

They all seem pretty faded in flavour compared to say a pre mix from vapeking etc

I'm not sure if its me or not, all the other flavours and clones I make are amazing but I just cannot get across a decent apple pie.....maybe im not steeping long enough but I usually wait from 1-2 weeks

Any suggestions or recipes that may help?

Adding a comment so I see replies. My apple pies have all been disappointing too.

From a master mixologist (HeadInClouds, original post here)

HIC's County Fair Apple Pie recipe: FANTASTIC! juicy apple pie with all kinds of delicious additions

    1% FA Apple Pie
    1% FA Walnut
    0.5% FA Nut Mix
    0.5% FA Maple Syrup
    0.5% FA Irish Cream
    0.5% FA Brandy
    0.5% FA Cinnamon Ceylon
    0.5% TFA Brown Sugar Extra

Leave for at least a day for the apple to show it's head ... if it's still not strong enough, add 0.5% FA Fuji apple

If all else fails turn to Molinberry for concentrates that never disappoint, Fenix Vapours are our Australian stockists with a good range to choose from.

They have crunch apple pie concentrate:
Fenix Vapours - Molinberry - Crunch Apple Pie - 10ml

    Eden Apple:
Fenix Vapours - Molinberry - Eden Apple 10ml

    Even a Green Apple concentrate:
Fenix Vapours - Molinberry - Green Apple 10ml

Hope you find what you're looking for Polar, good luck with it

I just read the recipe and thought "nope" as im not loving the FA apple pie as I feel its weak in the apple dept, read the link you supplied and am intrigued about the nut pulling the apple flavour into it. Its something I am definitely going to attempt. Thank you very much!

Sounds good, will definitely be putting the concentrates on my next order!

Just a clarification, I haven't made this as I don't understand why you'd want to vape it (tobacco all the way for me ), but HIC is a great mixer.
