Eliquid, coils and the cold winter months.

    Hi guys,
I'd just like to put out a timely reminder that in winter your eliquid may not flow as well (becoming thicker overnight due to the cold) and you may burn out more coils due to it.

At least for me being on a farm in a frost/snow area, my little shack gets very chilly overnight and I've been finding the coils in my tanks getting dry hits. With a bit of heat/warmth and the viscosity of the eliquid being much mod fluid it doesn't happen (as much), though i think the damage might have been done to the coil already.

One thing I do, as a weirdo who mixes distilled water with my VG instead of using PG, is carry a 10ml needle tip bottle of distilled water in my vape bag. I find that you can readily tell... on my gear, anyway... if the juice isn't wicking.
Open the tank, add a couple of drops of DW... shake it all about and presto changeo, it's good as gold.

God you lot need to have some serious shots of concrete.

Just hold the little bastards (tanks) in your hand for about a minute, thats enough to warm the liquid to a point it'll wick just fine. Once you start vaping it the residual heat from the coil keep the liquid thin enough.

Alternatively just stick in your pocket for a bit.

Inversely in summer you can drive your mod into the heart of your nearest anti-vaping politician...

I'm always amazed how the Nautilus coils keep up with 80% VG mind you it's not as cold up here a.
