    Ahhhhh Dry hits/burning Killing me!

    Hi all,

been vaping about 6 mths now with no big problems so far.

Just the last few days I have been getting bad dry/burning hits in my devices.
    Like really bad!

I have changed coils and juices and cleaned tanks like mad over the last few days to no avail!

I am suss on the raw VG and PG I am now mixing in to my juices as this is a fairly new addition.
Both these raw ingredients are supplied by a reputable Aust vaping company. I have shopped with them plenty have always been happy.

I am adding VG70/PG30 to mute the flavor down as I have progressed from using EGo with Kanger 3TS as my daily vapes to a couple of Innokin T20, Innokin coolfire mini or Aspire Zelos with Slipstream, Vapresso Veco tanks.
The T20s have been a daily staple for a while now with no probs ( I really like these!).

I am using juices (mostly doublers) I have had for a while and they have never given me trouble.
I normally would just add 70VG30PG 18mg nic to suit.
With these newer devices, I have thinned the nic down to 3-6mg.

If it were just one device or type of tank I'd be suss on that but since it's across a range, I'm suss on the liquids!

    Any thoughts?
This is doing my head in (and my sinuses, throat and lungs....)

juice might be too thick for the coils or if you run at high voltage some juices just cant handle it taste like crap

Was your nic in PG? When you reduced your nic did you up your PG to compensate?

In something like the T20 I'd be running 60/40......

I was running a couple of 100VG juices with no problem (eg. EC blend 12mg nic Tobacco flavour), I wanted to thin them down for less nic. All of it has been using the VG and PG recently purchased.
I have even used other VG before with no prob, just the pharmacy bought stuff.

As for flavours, you're dead right, I ahve had to mute some of them down as they are way overpowering. Then there's a point where not enough flavour = crap too!
It's a fun game of experimentation- for the most part.....

I had been increasing VG, suspecting PG was giving me the irrits, but I have been keeping this lot around 70/30.
I have run 100VG in the T20 with no probs. that was a store bought juice with 12mg nic though.

    gah, this is strange...
I had higher VG juices in them before buying the raw VG/PG and mixing up new stuff.
I also have this prob with veco, and slipstream tanks on Innokin Coolfire and Aspire Zelos after trying diff settings too.

All of you make sense, if it's too thick (VG) dry hits are on. I just don't get the change where there was some success with higher VG before.....

Hmm true, it had been warmer over the last few weeks.

I will try mixing more PG in.
Kinda killed what I thought was the point, being able to vape higher VG. Guess it's not going to happen in these little devices!
