    Will have a look. I did have a few sealed ones.

    Is it for drip shields?

    Nope, simply a battery extension.

    Edit: it just adds 5 or 6 mm to whatever you attach it to. In my case, I have a 510 extension for the Jazz that is too short. One of these might be pretty bloody close to what I need.

    This too long for the job?

    I just want to hear you say (or at least read you write), "why no MrGruffy, that's too big for me"

    Idea #2, a 510 to Ego adaptor looks like it would be close to the right length, albeit a bit fatter around the middle, which you could remove with a bit of work.

    Edit: Somehow I measured a random atty, change the measurement above to 20.36mm for the real extension.
    Edit: Woot, I found my missing atty.

    Mr Gruffy, that is WAY too big for me...

    I'm lazy, untalented, when it comes to soldering things. What I have is;

    On the left is the bodgy extension we made that I am currently using, which measures just shy of 36mm using a set of not quite as flash as yours Verniers. Absolute length.

    Middle is the too short extension. 32mm absolute length.

    On the right is an XL carto. 50mm * actually I think that is a standard 45 mm carto.

    Guess I just need to bite the bullet and make one. Tube needs to be 30mm long.

    Ah, I get it now.
    I'd volunteer to make one, but any I spend out of the suit is dedicated to FM's special order.

    Looks like hacking the XL to size and a bit of soldering should sort it nicely.

    Pfft, I'll do what I want. Your choice is only whether to keep or return.
