Can't twist my new eGo Twist?

Just got an order of some new gear, including an eGo Twist to replace my old one which I managed to leave in a cab.

I just realized I can't seem to twist it at all. My old one was very easy to adjust, this one won't seem to move from 3.2 (its default setting). Is there any little trick anyone knows of to get this sorted? I really don't want to have to send it back and wait for a replacement...

Oh how annoying, I've never had that happen before, but I could imagine how frustrating that would be, hope you get it sorted soon!!

try to twist it while using some type of rubber gloves which will give you more grip and might release it from the tight spot

I had one of those in pieces a couple of weeks ago.

As long as you are turning the right way, there is little chance of causing any damage. On the other end of the twistey bit, is a stem with a flat blade like a screwdriver. This is engaged into a trim pot with a slot, in which the twisty bit is engaged.

I will see if I can dig up some pics to show you properly.

I bought a starter kit from Vapebar recently, and one of the Twists in it was stuck like yours is (at 3.2V).

I would ask for a replacement to be sent, while you keep hold of the original, to use while waiting for the replacement, so you have something to use to vape with. Then when the replacement arrives send it back, hopefully in a pre-paid envelope that the vendor sends with the replacement.

First though try using a tea towel for grip on the twisty bit & see if it budges, it may just need loosening before it works properly but if it is no go after that, then yeah contact for replacement under warranty.
