Best way to polish a SS ming drip tip?

I wanted to see what the best way to polish a SS ming/vase drip tip using "at home products". I have read that toothpaste is the most common and would like to do it with that.
If anyone has used this method or has any tips on how the best way to do it with toothpaste in a plain and simple way i would love to know.

If you have a drill I'd slip the end in that, and spin it while you held a bit of gauze type cloth with your toothpaste on against it. Being extremely careful not to get your cloth caught in the drill chuck.. Toothpaste is an extremely fine abrasive though. Won't take scratches out, but will shine it.

I like baking soda and boiling water. Line your container with aluminium foil and drop the drip tip in there for about 30 seconds. After that, wipe it dry and buff it clean a little bit with a clean, dry cloth and.. voila!
