    Unhappy Stardust Clearos

OK what am I doing wrong, I have some Stardust clearos (rebuildables) but so far everything, I put in them tastes nasty. My fave juices taste like arse juice in them. I have been working my way through my original stardusts CE2s and they were fine.

I have washed the new ones (two or three times) and dry burned them several times but to no avail

    WHYYYYYYYYYY?????????????

Errrr 2.5 to 2.9 I think - well I ordered standard as opposed to low resistance. which is the same as the original ones I had.

liz, probably if you're using a standard ego batt, you want the resistance around 2.2-2.4, otherwise the battery just doesn't have the power for it. if you've got a vv batt, like a twist, try turning it up a bit. all the stardusts I've had have tasted pretty much fine right out of the gate. (apart from the super low resistance ones {1.8ohm, I think}, that just burned on my standard ego batts)

I use a ego twist set to 4.0 with stardust 1.8ohm with RY4 and is awesome.

Mind you I feel that its going through MORE juice then the standard ohm stardust, anyone else have this issue?

I've always found that the SR Stardusts were just too much for my 1100 eGos. Draw was tight, and bugger all vapour. The LR ones were much, much better, as long as I babied them a little bit by making sure the wicks were wet. Very few dry hits, and if I were to get them, it was when they were less than half full, and/or the battery was newly charged. I just prime up the wicks with juice before hitting, and they serve me very well.

OK thanks all, I am using an ordinary EGo eGo-C 900 mAh batteries, but as far as I can see the original clearos that came with my kit were standard resistance as well.

Having said that I have been toying with getting myself an EGO twist, so maybe that will do the job.

You really want low resistance atomizers on your ego C.

Not sure why that starter kit has standard resistance as an option.

I'd unwittingly ordered SR, not knowing what that meant. I think it's an easy mistake to make as an L-plater. I know my mistake was not to know to check when ordering. Was a longish and very frustrating time before I jerried LOL
