    Original Lava Tube button problem?

I've loved using my LT around the house since I got one from JR French before they were released to the public.
Over the last week I've had problems getting the power button to make a connection to give me power.
I found it did power on if I pressed the power button and pushed the button North at the same time.
Then I had to press on and wiggle it South, then East, then West.

The last few days I've had to wiggle it N by NE, or NE, or E by NE, or SE + the extras. You get the idea.
It can take me ten times of pushing the power button and wiggeling different directions before I get a vape.
Which is very frustrating when your tonguing for a hit.

Looking down inside the empty tube, the power button seems to move a metal piece a few mm towards the battery top,
a flat top 18650 to complete the circuit,
which is covered in insulated heat shrink, which we know won't work, but it did for the last couple of years?

I have stretched the bottom negative spring.
One of the threads I searched, a member mentioned he sprayed CRC into the works, let it drain & dry, then it worked OK.

Do you think I should try that, or am I missing something?

A small squirt of WD40 fixed the problem.

Hope that doesn't mean you are vaping WD40...
