Try and give it a bit of a wiggle. Usually can get it to pop out again with a bit of adjusting / force.

You will need to pull it apart. Gently! Place the button in its hole then reinsert the rest at an angle so the switch sits in the depression on the button. It may take a few goes.
Thats how I fix mine, but its fiddly. Someone may have a better suggestion.

If you can get hold of it twist it about a bit.

Ive done this to three batteries now, one just on Monday. Ive tried pulling the button back out with tweezers and toothpicks to no avail. I just replace em. THey last me an average of 3 months before I drop, lose or wet them. For the price ($20-$30) thats only a few cents a day - no big deal.....would probably buy $30 worth of lighters in 3 months.

Yeah not worth the hassle of fixing

Just buy a new one and don't drop it
