    electric shocks from svd

today i went to pick up my svd and put it to my lips and pulled away cause of funny sensation, i actually didnt think of shock until i put it to my lips again and i could feel the current from battery hitting my lip, and adjustment on my protank and it stop and i was able to vape, but 2 hours later i had same problem and received another shock ( i shouldnt say shock cause didnt zap me but there was a definate electric charge sensation)
reminded me of when putting the old square battery on tounge but not as strong
    anyone else have this problem?

Most likely from the protank, not the SVD. Heard of it happening before. Pull it apart, check all the connections including the replaceable head. It's usually caused by the coil being unseated a little bit, or the air tube being misaligned to the head. Under normal circumstances there should be no way for electricity to reach the mouthpiece via the air tube.

I received a Protank recently, I screwed it on ego c pressed button and "zap", destroyed battery.
Removed coil and found coil wire sticking out 3mill from under rubber washer, obviously shorted on battery casing.
I snipped excess coil wire off and all good.

I would swap coil over if you have a spare.

Maybe this thread should be renamed "electric shocks from Protanks".

I've been rebuilding my Mini Protank heads lately and am noticing the occasional "electric shock".

It feels like a slight tingling pulsating on your lips...

    Anyone else experiencing this?

yeah the problem is coming from the coil leads making c9ntact with the tank get some side cutter and nip any exposed metal you see sticking out around the insulator on the bottom of the coil had this last night while micro coiling a protank coil

No way you can get a shock through a plastic drip tip LOL
It's all in your head or maybe you are getting a shock from something else

Does it happen with any other atty heads? I was getting "shocks" from my SVD before, it was more of a burning actually, it was happening on the tips of my fingers though not on my lips
