    why the d in dct?

I was just wondering why a dct is called a dct? I know it means dual coil tank, but that entirely depends on what carto you use, doesn't it? if you're using a single coil carto in a dct, does it then become an sct (single coil tank)? I feel like i'm missing the point of something here.

think it was just smoktek's name of the tanks the made. and that 99.9% of places that sell the tanks sell them with a dc carto in them.

ok. cool. that makes sense. so it's only the smoktech ones that are called dct? and maybe some others have picked up on it?

A DCT is specifically a Smok carto tank, that usually shipped with a DCC installed.

If other tank manufacturers are calling their tanks a DCT, they are ripping off Smok's branding.

no no no. they're great carto tanks once you've worn them in and loosened the o-rings up a bit. the only one I've had problems with is the one that took a dive off the end of my desk whilst on the end of a vamo. the tank cracked and the vamo now slightly resembles a banana. the vamo still works just fine, but a cracked dct acts like a juice straw for some reason
