    Dropped my provari :(

    so I dropped my Provari mini, Top cap slightly popped off, i pushed it back down but it still isn't sitting flush.. anyway i can fix it ? or should i just live with it the way it is?

    I'm not sure that it's the recommended method, but when I viciously flung my provari from the bench to the tile floor with my elbow, the same thing happened. The top cap was not flush. MrGruffy got a piece of wood and bashed it back on straight. It didn't skip a beat.. I bloody well love that thing.

    Bash = soft bit of pine, careful application of precise force to the exact position.

    ahh ok, well i was just gonna bash it back in but i dont wanna damage it :P, it still works perfect just a cosmetic thing

    Had the same issue with mine although it only came out slightly. Just put a towel down on a hard surface went at it. All is fine and no damage.

    yup do the same thing here just use a piece of wood if home and the handle of the dough knife if at works

    re-seated mine a few times now, a vice or trigger style clamps do it easy, otherwise, a bit of wood and a hammer will work.
    Provari's are tuff, banging the head back in isn't going to hurt it
