    Cartos with flanges

A number of the juice delivery systems here are carto based.
We're liking the Steamers and VK slotted cartos, but...
But sometimes we have 'bugger, pass the vaping towel please, I've pulled my tank off' moments.

Well it happens that we also have a few tanks that are made for cartos with flanges, greatly reducing mishaps and inadvertent juice releases.

The question is, do you have a recommendation for a carto WITH flange that is a good as the Steamers and VK slotted cartos?

*the AGR I have is leak waiting for juice
*Note location reserved for witticism... long wait I fear.

oops, misread your post. Nevermid. sorry

I'm yet to find a decent Flanged carto myself.

    ignore below.

The UDCT are ideal. I got mine from overseas when I was purchasing my MVP. I'm not sure if any aussie vendor sells them. But you cant use them on a Provari as they sit flush with the top and air flow is completely blocked. Unlike other carto tanks, you cant slight lift it to allow some air in becuase the locking nut fixes it into position.

Not sure I am with you on this?? A flanged carto wont stop you pulling the tank off. Maybe getting old but from my younger days, the flange is at the battery end?? Feel free to chastise me if I am missing something.

Oh sorry Robray, you are quite right to say that based on my post.
I meant to add I have some tanks with locking rings, like Mav's post, and other similar devices. The flange locks the carto to the tank.
Airflow not a problem, I have airflow controllers where required.

Way to technical for me. I am locked into Vivi Novas and don't have the issues of the rank and file. KIS Not used a carto for years!!

Ive tried lots of cartos straight and flanged and I still think that nothing touches the vks slotted. Sorry about that chief. I would love to hear if you do find something that consistently hit the mark.

arry tanks were my favorite carto tank way back when. for exactly this reason. only problem was they were all steel, and the vacuum created in the tank occasionally made it hard to get the top cap off for filling. but there was never a leak, and it was impossible to pull the tank off the carto.

i'm sure there are newer versions of the same kind of thing now with fill holes. i've not kept up with carto tanks as i have no interest in them anymore.
