    Battery Charging Question

    Hi Guys,

I bought 3 flat top 18650 batteries and a charger from madvapes.

The charger has a little switch on the side for 3V and 3.6V.

Just wondering what I should have it set to and how long the batteries take to charge?

Also learned that flat tops don't work with the provari 18650 extender

Hmm, I got some too the other day, from JW, and a trustfire charger, I never even noticed the switch on the side, I just had a look then. I've already charged my batteries, it's set to 3.6. They didn't blow up, lights turned green after some hours of charging, so I'm hoping that is a good sign. Haven't tested them yet, got a Vamo on its way hopefully arriving tomorrow so I guess I'll find out then Think my batts took around 6 hours, from memory?

Excellent! Thanks man. I was a bit concerned because when you flick it to 3v the indicators go green.

    We have the same charger...

Let us know how the Vamo goes... My Mod budget is now blown for a while.

No worries, I still don't know if that was the right setting for it, I just know that my house is still standing

Looking forward to the Vamo, only batteries I've ever had are the ego 1100mAh.

Edit: just looking at the description of my batteries, they're 3.7v. Maybe if you look yours up on VM it'll say in the description?

    Yeah - They're all 3.7V.

An (electronic) engineer at work told me to set it to 3.6V, but still I worried.

Edit: Oh yeah.. I think you'll like a new battery. I was on the Spinners until I bought a Z-Max. I got a Provari today through the classifieds here. Both make vaping even better!

Definitely the 3.6v setting guys. If it's the Trustfire TR001, they are a slow little charger. There are much better options out there.
