Atomizer suggestions for first time user.

    G'day all,

Vaping for 6 weeks and looking to DIY juice making. I have purchased quite a few flavours/doublers, and the issue I have had is that I have been using my clearos to test the taste, which obviously is a pain as to try another flavour, I would have to clean out the clearo, wash them out and wait a couple of days to dry before trying the next flavour.

Hence an atomizer (I think). I should be able to test quite a few flavours quickly using one of them. But I am not sure which one I want. Basically I don't want to rebuild anything yet, I just want a tank to taste test new flavours. So what should I be looking at, and realistically how long would they last with rebuilding? I have seen the Ego-T which seems to use cartridges, but at roughly $1 each, it seems expensive to try new flavours.

    Thanks in advance.

You should probably look into dripping atomizers. Either a 306 style, which is right to go out of the box, or a rebuildable like the igo-l or igo-w.

Some links, 306 VKS SS Atomizer which needs the following sort of drip tip

306 Cannon Style Drip Tip - Multicolour

Rebuildable, which also requires kanthal and silica.

    IGO-L Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer

Should give you some ideas at least.

also there was a whole thread about this as well

What's the best way to taste test DIY mixes?

i've also been using 510 bridgeless as well as the 306 -

smaler clearos like a comet or vision nano could be good for tasting flavours. because they are bottom coil, and have such a small amount of wicking material, it doesn't take long at all to finish one flavour and have another come thru full strength. just putting that out there as an alternative to dripping

I've got a little 306 atomizer that I use for tasting when I am being lazy.
It's the same one Nakor linked, he VKS 306 from vape king. I used it for ages on one of my vape boxes as an every day atomizer. 4 months on and it still works haha.

To change flavours with it all you to is hold it upside down over a bit of paper towel or napkin, and blow out any excess juice. After that you're good to go for a new flavour.

If you want to give it a rinse, I put a little bit of vodka in a shot glass and drop the atomizer in it. Swirl it around, take it out and let it sit for a while so the vodka can evaporate. I've done this maybe two or three times with my current one, cleans it out pretty good.
    Words are fun.
Steam powered and smoke free since January 2013.
Addiction is bad, let me explain it to you after I finish this coffee.
