Why are two devices showing diff resistance?

    Hi all
Having a go at my first RDA and I have built the following coil...11 wraps of 28ga kanthal.

The itaste vv shows 1.9ohm and the svd shows 3.1. Why would this be happening?? I've turned it off and on, etc... The svd resistance checker matches the itaste vv on other things, such as evods so I'm a bit stumped.

Any idea what's going on here?
    Thanks

It's there any juice on the brass pin in the SVD 510 connection?

Either not making proper contact on the svd or you have a short. If all other atties match on these devices, it is the only explanation

There's no short, nothing is touching and device fires. I can get the svd to randomly show the correct ohms so does this mean it's a contact problem?

In this case it's varying 1+ ohms!

BTW this is an IGO l

bTW the 1.9ohm sounds right if it's a 2mm contact coil with that amount of wraps

Do you have one more device to check it on and find which one is giving the wrong reading?

Ok just used a mini screw driver to wiggle the brass post up a little. Hope that was safe to do?...i removed battery first. And now it seems to read ok.

Thanks for the quick replies, it seems I just had a dodgy contact. A noob thing as I only got the svd today as well (thanks cdan ;-)).
