Is anyone using the Mecha BOD by Leo?

Not using it myself but I own a few of the atomisers he has designed. With all Leo's devices always a good idea to check his You Tube channel for Hints and Tips and information

    Goz,

Thanks for the link. Interesting configurations.

I'm currently using the Sophia atomiser.

Just picked up a Sophia myself, arrived yesterday.
Been tinkering with it a bit and playing with different coils, so far I have found it doesn't like real heavy VG mixes.

Might be worth having a look through the eBaron Dripper thread as they share a lot of similarities with the Sophia.

Thanks. I have another look at the eBaron Dripper thread.

I need some advice regarding a mechanical MOD like the Mecha BOD.
There appear to be no voltage/wattage adjustments; is power output solely determined by the battery?
I assume the addition of a 'kick' would add some form of manual intervention? I was first made aware of the 'kick' in the video posted earlier in the thread.
I'm intending to use AW IMR batteries and a Soshine H2 charger.

Yes, mechanical mod means it has no circuitry or control over the output, your battery alone controls it, they go from about 4.2v fresh out of a charge down to 3.5vish when you need to charge them... it's not actually as restricting as it sounds once you know how to make a good coil and the vape feels alot smoother, plus I found alot of VW/ VV mods take a few seconds to fire at their set power outage, so it's a faster vape with a mech, plus they're alot smaller and often artistically designed.
a kick does give you control over the output though so you can kind of have the best of both worlds.

I'm not sure no circuitry is the correct phrase, as there will always be a circuit required to vape, but the mechanical one has no circuitboard or wiring generally.

Do you think the Mecha BOD is overkill for use with the Sophia .....with regard to the coils?
