    I Taste SVD Questions

Hey people I received my itaste svd on Monday and it's great. I have only one question though. Sometimes it seems to turn itself off, does anyone know why this is so??? It was happening mainly when using the 18350 battery. One theory is that I'm over heating the ce4 clearomizer. Can't wait for the Aspire Maxi Tanks to arrive.

I guess a tricky button contact.
You need to press these buttons firmly and in the center. If you're pressing lightly and on the sides, it may be registering multiple presses, and three presses is the signal for the device to switch off.
Happened to me a few times. I press the button, no vapor, move my thumb around and press more firmly, find the device switched off as it thinks I have just pressed it 3 times.

I had the same problem, so I undid the bottom cap and pulled the spring out a bit more so it had better contact with the battery. (I am not mechanical at all, but this worked..lol)

I think that may be it as well. I've got no other issues with it and find it to produce a great vape.

got my svd yesterday, now I feel like a jedi! i've invested in a proper multimeter now that I know how annoying it is not being able to measure the ohms of a coil, anyone having issues with fasttech should try the express shipping, got my package in 4 days, definitely worth the extra 20 bucks.

The device shut off simply to protect the electrical parts/circuit board/battery. Reason of it shut down can be quite a few though.
    1. Over heated coil / Coil shorts
    2. Abnormal electric hits back to device from Atomiser
    3. Defective battery
    4. Defective contacts (either positive or negative)
    5. Electric leaks
    6. Exceeding firing limit (10 sec?)

I have experienced the above 1, 2, 4 & 6 but generally nothing had happened more than the device shut down. Overall it is a very good performer and economical to own.

Isn't SVD comes with ohm reader by pressing both + and - buttons together?
