Kanthal Ribbon vs Wire on Gauge

Does anyone know how to workout in gauge for Ribbon just like in wire? I normally use 26 or 28 gauge wires for my build and would like to try using ribbon.

I've found some specs for ribbon and if anyone can help to explain how to convert the ribbon measurement to approx gauge would be much appreciated.

    0.3x0.1mm Ribbon = ??? gauge
    0.5x0.1mm Ribbon = ??? gauge
    0.8x0.0022" Ribbon = ??? gauge
    0.8x0.0035" Ribbon = ??? gauge

    cheers
