Im thinking its either too much cotton or too much cotton. Could be too much cotton. Could be I made the coil 7 wraps and its too much cotton.

Its only started since I rewicked tonight.

I tried one of those 24g precoiled VK ones in mine and it was pretty difficult, i stripped the thread out the center post, happened to have a spare but i won't do it again, 28 works really well for me with 8 wraps around a 2mm bit, but thats just my set up, that or 6 wraps of 30g around 2mm bit, either or.

    Ohms for coils

I just built a coil & before heating & squeezing it together I checked the Ohms just to see if I needed to more or less wraps. It said it was 1.2 Ohms which is around what I vape at so I went ahead & put it on a mod to heat & compress it into a micro coil. All went fine but after doing this the Ohms ended up being .95. Even though I'm an old bloke I don't mind feeling young with a bit of sub ohming so I'm using it in my Rose clone.
What I want to ask is does a loosely wrapped coil have higher Ohm readings than the same coil compressed to a micro coil?
