    Watched that yesterday and thought it might convince me to try the aspires, but it seems even Rip can't do that. Excellent for the current users and their dud heads though.

    I once attempted to rebuild an iclear16, in the end I said 'stuff that'.
    Interesting though in that video, he never used the slide on insulators over the leads. I know the iclear16 had them to prevent shorts, and his first video on the aspire he dis-assembled one and it had the plastic slide on insulators over the leads too.
    On that video in this thread the coil head he took apart to rebuild didn't have them? Maybe previously rebuilt and insulators removed so didn't use them again either?
    For something that small and fiddly, I would have used the insulators to prevent shorts.
