    Noalox Anti-oxidant

    Hi guys,

Just got my reo today. What I can say is this little bugger is exceeding my expectation. Have a Cyclone on it with 1 ohm kanthal and cotton. Tried to use kick clone but no success. I think kick clone doesn't support 1.3 ohm and below. Will try kick 2 when it arrives.

Also, I have been seeing many people mentioned about Noalox Anti-oxidant to be used for the contacts on Reo's firing button (the one touches the battery positive). Just wondering where I can get one. Been to local Bunny's but it is like huge warehouse and the guys there were just not helpful. They don't even know such product!! So i assume they don't carry them, at least not in that Bunny's.

Appreciate anyone to let me know where you can get Noalox.

Also to share a little trick on mod cleaning. I think i have seen previous post using jewelry cleaner on GG. In case you don't have the jewlry cleaner, you can actually make one of your own. Here is the recipe:

    2 tea spoon of salt
2 tea spoon of baking soda
1 tea spoon of dish detergent (put more if you think not enough)
50 - 100 ml of water (adjust the ratio on the go)

Mix them well and put your mod in. **Metal only, no electronic parts!!
Give a bit of stir and wait for couple of minutes. Repeat this process until you feel satisfy with the result.
** Recommend to clean your mech mod at least on weekly basis for its ultimate performance.
    Quit on 10.06.2013
Ave Smoked: 15-20/Day for 22 years
    Spent on Smoke: $600/month when 1 pack = $18

Sorry FM, which one do you think is better? Noalox or the Carbon Grease you have recommended? What are the differences between these 2?

I have no experience at all on these.
    Cheers.

They both do the job equally well .. the Noalox is a little more "liquidy" the other paste is a teeny tad more gritty and dries a bit more... If you plan on regular cleaning and maintenance the bigger tube of paste makes sense , just be aware if it is left on for months on end it goes a bit harder and grittier than noalox .... as to conductivity they are much of a muchness
