    Zen Sidewinder Kick Screw

Does anyone know the dimensions of the elusive "Kick Screw" for the Zen sidewinder?

Can't find them for sale anywhere and all my searches just bring up people looking to get hold of one.

I made one out of a brass screw, then later adapted a spring and screw so the kick can sit snug.

Cheers mate, I think thats what I will have to do. I have some brass screws that suit the atty, so will cut one of them down.

I think it would be great with a kayfun and a kick. The genny atty isn't getting much loving lately.

I just ended up making one out of a brass screw, but if anyone wants to know what the mysterious screw measurement needs to be it is 8-32x5/8 or M4x15 will also work

Yeah, the m4 is a bit sloppy, I put a spring in and held it in place with a screw from the inside, so I had both screws to hold the base plate, the spring came out of an old clone mod I had, and had a small coil on one end which held the screw!

Strange, mine was a bit tight, maybe I bought 8-32 brass screws when I ordered the atty bolts, can't remember.

15W Regulated, the Sidewinder is useful again

Can't for the life of me understand why the kick screw isn't promoted by Zen.

Is that a 510 sidewinder or have you adapted the Kayfun to fit?

I bought one of the 510 connections for it. However I am kicking myself now, as not long after I ordered it I came accross this.
