    Cool Fire 1 Stuffed?

    Hi Guys,
My Cool Fire 1 seems to be permanently 'on', even when it's supposed to be 'off'

There's a spring loaded pin at the top which I presume gets pushed down when a tank is screwed on and makes a connection to the battery - this appears to be springing correctly.

I'm thinking that the button is the culprit, which makes sense as it gets the most work, and, I'm guessing, that the button is operating a small pcb to regulate power and is some sort of spring loaded mechanism???

There doesn't appear to be any means of dismantling it to investigate the cause. Nothing unscrews (that I can find), but then I'm no expert. Any suggestions, or is it the bin for this? Which, damn it, is a shame 'cos I just got everything sorted on this combo

Even more damn it!!! I had two Evod batts, but somehow lost one at the golf club last week - pineapplepineapple!!

That's a very kind offer MS, and thank you, I'll survive

I'm guessing this is not repairable, so may have to find a replacement. By co-incidence I have an order at VK (which I've now asked them to hold), so I'm wondering about buying an SVD. In 18350 form, I'm guessing it's about the same size as the Cool Fire - would be good if someone who's got one could let me know. The Cool Fire with a Protank 2 onboard is about 150mm long.

Open to suggestions on other mods, cheers Deb

Thanks Laurie, hmmmm, in 18350 mode, the SVD is still 30mm longer than the Cool Fire

I'd like some recommendations for a replacement,VV, VW or both, I use Pro/Mini Tanks that I have recoiled to run cotton - nothing too outrageous,

C'mon, I trust you guys and I'm asking you to help me spend some $$$, lol

    SVD
    MVP
    VTR
    Provari Mini with extension tube
    i34 Mini

    and ?????

Needs to be able to be used in 18350 form, with the option of longer batteries if necessary, but I'm not that fussed on that.

Don't want to totally disable the vaping bank either

I'd help if I could hun, but I've had a similar run.

I just ordered stuff from bogger box mods, who had good reviews for years, then just b/c i did lots of stuff popping up to not go near them.

If I promise not to order what you buy it should be good I think cos I won't curse it

I bought a Provari Mini, same size as the Cool Fire 1

Oh, and I found my missing Evod battery, it was in the Ladies Committee room, where there has been much puzzlement as to what it was lol
