    Cleaning With Isopropyl Alcohol

Hi my iClear30B has been permently tanted by a bacon flavored ejuice, which was quite possibly the worst flavor I have ever tried. Its not the coil as I have put a new one in and washed the tank and metal bits in cold, warm and boiling water, it still tastes like the bacon when I put new flavored ejuice in. It makes me feel sick, so I was wondering can I use isopropyl alcohol to fix this? If so do you just rub it on or do you soak the bits in some for couple minutes or possibly another technique? All advice welcome as I'm a begginer to all this and I love my iclear30b its my favrioute clearomiser. Thx in advance

Far cheaper and just as effective as both vodka and isopropyl alcohol. I go through gallons of the stuff because I soak everything in it. It's brilliant.

Cut your losses, and stop wasting your time.
Spend a few dollars on a new iClear.

If the clearo is made of glass and metal (never used an iclear myself?) you can cover it with vinegar and heat it in the microwave for 1 minute. Then let it sit for a few hours, then a good rinse with water.

I do this with all my gear and coils except plastic clearos.

quite off topic, but vinegar is great for cleaning your kettle, too, fill kettle, put in a generous splash of white vinegar and boil kettle. same as clearos, tho. ensure you rinse til the vinegar smell is gone, cos if the smell isn't gone, the taste isn't either. the thought of vinegar flavoured juice or cofee does nothing for me at all at all.

For removing bacon juice taste the best solution is actually high octane petrol.
