    Has anyone used the ReadyXwick = heat treated xc-116

    And any chance i may purchase some if you a small amount spare ?

    Should note that this stuff is banned from US export as it was used by NASA at some point.

    Having said that I'm sure a freight forwarder wouldn't glance twice at it.

    tried using a usa virtual credit card & ship forwarding in NV but still got knocked back... I'm assuming its not illegal to obtain & own so long as a seller in the usa doesnt export it...

    I've a friend in the states.... After looking into the stuff, im interested!

    $750,000 fine for exporting though apparently!

    Fine seems a little over board for what it is... Don't want to be getting anyone into trouble... Having said that i'm sure theres a way to get some ;-) lol

    I to have a few contacts including family in the USA but like you say is it worth running the risk of a $750,000 fine for $8 of PV wicking material... Probably not... I havn't tried every freight forwarding co. neither have i read there t&c's to see if i become liable as id like to still visit the states again... If i don't will i be trying every forwarder in the US, hail yessss siree bowb ;-)

    but seriously... What an absolute F'n joke... its just ceramic cord & i dont see metal or plastic ect being banned for export cos there used on the space shuttle... lol... Its just natural that the military design and use something thats then released to the masses for the benefit of glorious nation of kazakstan... Yek shamesh !

    You'd be surprised what items are on the export control lists MeeZoid. What really stinks is the fact that other countries have to stick to these controls to not upset the americans.
