What box mod should I buy (or try to buy)?

    Hi,

I thought I would start a thread over here instead of interfering with the hana modz clone coop.

I'm after a box mod preferably the dna30 chip from evolve. My preference original was da mini v2 from db modz but the inbuilt lipo battery is a concern as I would have to send it back to have it replaced. I contacted them to try to find out if I could replace this myself but have not heard back anything yet.

I want something simple and plain looking like the hana or the da mini v2 (not a fan of steam punk gear).

Can anyone recommend a decent boxmod that I wouldn't have to wait several months for? Something that could take two 18650 would be superb and easily replaced also. I was looking at the Gi2 from grand innovation but I think it might be a bit serious for my usage and apparently it chews the batteries like nothing else.

Any ideas or suggestions, budget is about $300.

    Regards
    pklifter

    Hey pklifter,
I'm not sure if these would suit your needs as they arnt a 'box' mod but they are a decent mod non the less.

Sigelei make a 20W device using the SX200 chip (Called the Sigelei 20W) and they also just came out with a 30W device called the Sigelei Legend 30W (Uses a 26650).
Otherwise I've heard great things about the Hana Modz Box - just havnt tried one myself

I wasn't aware they made a 30W sigelei. It must be very thick to hold a 26650, I will try and find out more to see if it will suit what I'm after.

I would be happy with a hana modz but the wait is gonna kill me. How do the sx200 chips compare to the dna30?
