    What is the best SS mesh grade to use

    Ok I have some 400 mesh and running out so as there is so many types I wanted to know what is the best grade to use?


    Fogger V1
    Fogger V4
    Ithacker
    Taifun Gt

    yep I used a combination of 400 SS mesh and cotton on the Taifun GT.

    Different mesh for every occasion, really. I only use mesh in gennies, but for what you want to use it for, as low as 200 would be ideal.

    Some people like to use different mesh depending on PG or VG content, but that's mainly because thicker viscosity and wicking up gets affected.
    So woudn't matter for something like a taifun as it's not wicking up.

    You have to show pics of the ithaka though, never seen one in them.

    I usually use cotton for everything except genisis atty, and even for them prefer wire rope with just a top cap on mesh under the coil (which means the mesh doesn't really matter what type as it's the wire rope that does the wicking).
    When not using rope, cotton etc, I use 325, or 400 but my juices are usually 60/40 or 70/30.

    Ok I will post some pics and I use a 50/50 mix the only one I have used SS mesh on is the Taifun GT the others I used cotton but had leaking problems
