Kayfun Lite HIT :) VAPOUR :(

hey guys I'm a bit of a lurker not a poster but i wanted to get some feedback off others. Iv just got into micro coil builds and got a kayfun lite looked like an easy build to make for the first build.... now its working a treat hit is HUGE! I just received an order of 24mg juice and well that was a massive mistake. Now my current coil is .8 Ohms my issue is the hit and flavour is great but vapour is laking compared with my cardo pro tank.... can anyone give me some advice as to why???

    Thanks in advance....

Have you tried adjusting the wick?, I mean it may be packed too tight.

Yup what richo said. I had trouble with my kayfun until I realized I had too much wick or the wick was too tight. Less wick is better in the kayfun ime.

Well you may be right I was afraid less wick may mean flooding due to nothing soaking it up??? Also the draw is really good flows nicely hmmm

You got cotton wick or silica in there? Like the others have stated - you need to find a sweet spot for how tight you wind the wire on your wick. Cotton is a plus in this instance (especially for micro coils) as you can change the density with ease.

cotton mate yeah ill redo it later tonight with less cotton also i brought organic cotton from vapeking and i find it to have a slight smell only way to explain it is sharp citrus type of smell.... when i use it without boiling it it tastes horrid now I'm not sure if its the cotton or the kayfun iv cleaned my whole kayfun out with isopropyl alcohol and boiled it.... hmmmm i don't know this building seems too hard and a pain in the arse

Optimum coil in a kayfun is a 1.1-1.2 nano in my opinon. Wicking is key though you just want enough wick so it touches the base than juice it up and spread it along the base keeping the air channel clear before putting the chimney on. If you want to go sub 1 ohm or run a dual micro id advise drilling out your air hole or grabbing one of these Dual Airflow Kayfun Lite Plus v2 Clone by EHPRO - Eciggity.

Stock kayfuns get dry and rough sub 1ohm without more airflow in my opinion
