    Carto tank carto hot swap?

Hey guys and girls. Has anyone been able to hot swap a carto tanks cartomiser? I have tried a few times in a mess. I thought it was possible with a tank tool, but no good for me, then I tried pushing a carto out with a carto and that was no good.

It just seems wasteful. I'm dumping a lot of juice when it fails. I couldn't find any videos either.

    Cheers

We do this all the time with Boge flangeless cartos. However some tanks are easier to do from the top and others from the bottom. Not sure where you are having difficulties but it's just fitting the cartos to each other. The only suggestion I have is make sure you hold the tank bits together.

You can of course empty the eliquid then practice until you feel like you have it sussed.

Not too difficult to do when your juice level is down around half tank or lower. Tip the tank upside down, use the new primed carto to push the old one out throught the top of the tank. Flip the tank back over to right way up when you are about halfway pushing the carto through. Should have minimal juice loss.

Easy. Unscrew ya tank with old carto.

Prime new carto, attach to mod, lube outside with a little juice.

place old tank in left hand, place the new carto over the threads of the old carto in tank.

Push straight up. Pop the old carto out up top.

Another reason not to use flanged cartos.

if you have a filler tool, there's no reason it would be messy, even with flanged cartos. just have the new carto ready to go with the filler tool in it. pull the old carto out the bottom of the tank a bit. put your finger over the top of the tank and turn it upside down. pull the old carto out. put the new carto in far enough to seal the bottom of the tank. flip it up the right way. finger off the top and push the new carto home. easy peasy. even easier with non-flanged cartos.

    It's an IBT btw.

    Thanks all
