    The Combat Clones campaign

Hey guys, thought some of you may be interested in a new 'movement' that seeks to spread awareness of the issues involving the cloning of mods.

Here is the link for those that are interested - http://www.combatclones.com/

Their statement: Join our movement to combat clones infecting the vaping industry. The best modders and vendors are supporting this cause. Spread the message!

LOL, don't own or have never owned clones hey?

Maybe contribute in a more meaningful way, like post some stuff in the budget hardware thread, or some other way rather than do this.

I don't understand this campaign, a handful of modders selling LE mods. I don't understand how this helps at all. Someone please enlighten me.

We are in the same boat JimJamzz - I do not completely understand either. I know the Eden Mods had a bit of a go at them about their intentions. But hey i guess its bringing modders together to work out what they can do.

I'm not trying to be an ass man but I wouldn't be "promoting" something like this if I was you. Smells severely of a cash grab i've spent the last 5 minutes trying to break through the wall of hyperbole and it seems the only facts there are as follows.

    - Special LE editions sold by modders to the public
    - A portion (no set amount of percent listed could be 0.02% for all we know) is donated to a random charity the modder likes (completely un vape related)
    - Runs weirdly for 3 months

The rest is a meaningless wall of text. They are the facts.

Valid points mate - but honestly there can be nothing wrong with looking at what they are trying to do in regards to data collection and so on. They have a few reputable modders on board and i am sure they would not want to tarnish their name in any way. Time will tell i guess.
