using 2.5mm wick and 32 gauge kanthal. tried 3/4/5/6 wraps all around 0.4-0.9 ohms on my MVP. which is VERY weird

if i cant progress i cant even go to RDAs hahahah

I followed the coil calculator as seen below. so i figured around 4 wraps can give me 1.8ohm

so this is what i did.

    it shows 0.6 ohms lol

Check your Kanthal A1 32awg should be around 45 ohms/metre.

My mate does them consistently, 7 wraps 30 gauge around a 2ml drill bit always ends up close on 1.8ohms.

rdas are much easier to work on - i used evods for months when i started but just couldnt rebuild them - i gave up lol - they were just too fiddly and small to work on for me - was so much easier when i bought a dripper and everything worked as it should

anyway if you want higher ohms with 32g u should maybe try a micro coil/contact coil with cotton - ie more wraps with the wraps touching each other

I used to rebuild my protanks all the time, this looks like a similiar build platform and your using silica as i did

so what i used to do was forget drill bits and such just get your silica and a thin allen key wrap around both 7 times make them contact so you don't use too much space across then pull out the allen key.
Using the allen key helps in 2 ways, first its really easy to keep the wraps nice and neat and once you pull out the allen key you will give the silica the ability to fluff back up and wick better

    hope that helps

edit: just make totally sure that the legs arn't touching the sidesor each other, it will throw off the reading even if the coil is the built correctly to a specific ohm
