Micro coil rebuild in Protank head

Not sure if this has been posted before.
But I just done my first micro coil rebuild in a Protank coil head.
I used 0.2mm Kanthal from FT and it turned out to be 2.2ohm and hits like a champ with a cotton wick.
Im stoked it worked perfectly first time.

    Jeno,
I usually aim for 1.8ohm, works out at 8 wraps on a 2mm drillbit using 30g kanthal, and then seat it with a 1.5ml drillbit. Been doing this for a few months now.
You're dead right about it hitting like a champ ! Best part about it is the fact that you can change your wick whenever you like for a totally clean set up and dry burns are a breeze.
I generally use the Ken Do for a wick but occasionally use organic cotton with a couple of 1mm bits of kanthal laid above the coil to stop any "heat spits" up the tube. Pretty much the same as a normal coil when you buy them.

Great to see I'm not the only one who has been "converted" ha ha.
    Cheers
