    Mech mod - switch question

    Hi All,

So I am thinking that to get the setup I would like in the size I would prefer I may have to go mechanical mod with a kick.
Now here's the silly question - I have googled mech mods a thousand times and see a stack of tubes that I like, but for the life of me I cannot find a pic with the button position?
    Is it at the bottom?
Is there some reason they don't show the button position in photos?
Have I got it 100% wrong and there is no button?

Appreciate any help you may have!

    Sko.

Most mech mods have the button on the bottom of the mod.
Have a look on youtube for a review of one of the mods you like and you should find some where they actually take the mod apart and show you how it all works.
Make sure that the mod you get is compatible with a kick and the battery size you want to use with it.

This same thing confused me, it wasn't until I watched a Youtube video I realised "Of course"!

Why ever would you want a mech mod with kick over a properly engineered regulated mod?
I can think of a few reasons but none are obvious in the OP.

Fair question - I am looking for a shorter mod with a very plain/simple sleeve - currently using an Evic with a Naut, and is just way too long - it's purely an asthetic thing.

Stomp put me on to the Dicodes Dani Extreme, and I have one on the way (18350 size) so looking forward to that, but love the style of some of the mech tubes out there so am playing with the idea of a shorter tube and batt with a kick to reduce size but introduce some of the safety features missing in purely mechanical mods.

Hope that makes a bit more sense?
