Accidental RDA firing for 6 mins

So I left my stingray standing and it has a soft firing button and fired for about 6 minutes before I realised. Came back to it burning hot and the insulator piece on the rubber melted. See attached picture. B3D9D95F-9784-433A-9100-E48705FA6951.jpg

Is it safe to say that the RDA is gone and good to chuck it out? And with the battery it got quite hot so I'm assuming that would have to be chucked too? I put it in my charger and it read at 3.6V. It's a Panasonic ncr18650pf.

The RDA will be fine, just replace the insulator, the battery at 3.6V should also be fine, it didn't dip right down into very low volts, I'd say you will be Okay, though others may chip in with their thoughts
