    Burnt Taste

    Hi guys,

I recently got into vw/vv devices and everything was going well with the mvp v2. I then decided to go for higher wattage, and got the vaporshark rdna30. Ive never had issues with burnt tasting or dry hits with the mvp, however am getting it now with that im using the rdna. I have a .9 ohm build on a kayfun lite plus at 20watts and am constantly getting dry hits.

I can not figure out why it always happens when i use that device at that many watts. From my understanding 20watts should be fine with a 0.9ohm build.

Can someone please help me figure out why this is happening.

Appreciate all the help in advance.

Dry hits generally = wicking problems

    what are you using?

Lower the watts. If it tastes burnt you're using too many.

    Or wicking issues.

I'm sure a few pics of the build or a good description of kanthal gauge/diameter of coil/wicking material and such may help out in figuring out alternatives

Can't say that I would push my kayfun that hard on a dna device but i'm sure there are a few that do and would be able to help you

Good move! You don't need mass watts on a Kayfun for a good vape. 1.2ohm is good, even up to 1.8. Try 9 to 11 watts for a start dependant upon your juice type. If you're still getting dry hits definitely a wicking issue. Good luck!

My pleasure! go with what tastes good! You really don't need to cook things. Anywhere between 1.2 to 1.8 is good.
