    Kayfun V4 teasers

    https://www.reddit.com/r/ecr_eu/comm...t_information/

There is an interview with Eugene Auge from SMTec (he is a commercial director of the company) - makers of Kayfun. The interview is in Russian and is broken in two ~15 minute parts (part 1 [1] , part 2 [2] , they are marked as 3 and 4 because there are another two parts about history of SvoёMesto and SMTec). Eugene talks about some of details of new Kayfun 4. This is my summary in English.

Kayfun V4 will be available in several diameters and there will be hybrid connectors for different mods. Kayfun V4 will have improved deck with ability to install dual coil builds.

Wicking should be similar, there will be liquid control and top filling without removing the top cap.

There will be two air channel kits to choose from and later there will be an upgrade kit for hardcore sub ohming with even larger air flow. Standard airflow kit will work with down to 0.8 builds on a mech, sub-ohm kit should work fine with 0.3-0.4 Ohms. Auge is using his KF4 with 0.7 to 1.1 Ohm builds.

He says the way all features are implemented are not copied from anything else on the market. One RTA has one similar implementation of one unnamed feature, but they did not see that before implemented in Kayfun V4.

    Kayfun V4 will not whistle.

There will be metal tank, glass tank and polycarbonate tank, all included in the kit. They all will have different visual designs.

    Teaser images: image 1 [3] , image 2 [4] , image 3 [5] .

Kayfun 4 is made out of about 41 elements. Drip tip will be included, 510, replaceable.

I hope they keep the height of the thing down a bit - going to be annoying having to pick up nano kits or a lite version down the track. I will definitely one up though, once the Russians have had their turn. Love the kayfun.

I've been watching the goss surrounding the v4 for a while now. .......... it's been obvious that at least Phil and Todd have had one for a couple of weeks now.

    Here's a pic of the chimney. ........

There has been some debate as to whether the top of the chimney is threaded or not? Also note the 6, yes 6 (juice?) holes around the base.

I'm also waiting to see if there is a p3 threaded version/adapter?

I do hope the v4 continues to look sleek and minimalist like the 3.1 and lite do. I much prefer the KF appearance to the Fogger, Taifun, Squape, or Rose. Though of course, taste is subjective.

I'm assuming it's planned release is as soon as possible? Maybe intended for before Christmas?
Anyway: I'm up for 2 as soon as I can get them, even if the price is 149 euros as someone on Reddit said. Whomever first finds a site selling them, or accepting pre orders with a reasonably firm release date, please let us know!

In regards to the pictures posted; what is the bottom right one of?

I will happily pony up the cash for a K4 if it hands down beats the Lemo. I don't need a nano/stumpy/whatever kit or artistic engravings. I need something with juice wells that actually allow juice in, a chamber that isn't searing heat at 15w+ and decent airflow.
