Question Quick question: Can I use my MPV2 charger on my iStick30 ?

For some reason the charging cable wasnt included.
I have the cable for my MVP2 which fits, but that doesnt mean it wont blow it up.

Can I use it anyway ?

Assuming that your istick is from the co-op the cable wasn't included to keep total cost down. It takes a standard micro usb cable so yes the mvp cable will work fine its more about where you plug the other end into.

Don't have an iStick, but if you're planning on plugging the USB cable into a wall charger adaptor thingy, I'd make sure it's a 1 amp charger. Some places will try to sell you a 500mA charger.

    MVP Cables do work.
iStick takes 1A, twice as fast charge as 500mAh
    Fuschia is the new red.

A word of caution. Every MVP charging cable has been a really tight fit on the charge ports and need a little wiggle to take off. This put the charge ports under a bit of stress. If you are going to use it be gentle.

You can buy a micro usb cable from ebay for about $1! Or you can get a posh one like MrsUte's from Coles for $10. Both are totally fine for charging your iStick, along with the MVP cable, which is what I'm currently using to charge all of mine

My only complaint is that my new lappy only has one spare USB slot The old coal powered one had 5! Charging them all takes a couple of hours, one at a time... think I'm going to have to buy a USB hub thing.
